The meetup was organized by “CHAT Reseachers”, the largest professional community of researchers working in marketing, sociological, product, and CX/UX/UI research. Today, the community’s Telegram chat has more than 11,800 members and has been actively developing for nearly six years.
A total of 88 specialists took part in the meetup, including representatives of research agencies, independent experts, research platforms, and corporate teams from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Russia, and South Africa.
Ten speakers took the stage, sharing practical cases and key trends in product research.

One of the key elements of the program was Research Dating Day, an interactive format designed to facilitate professional networking and experience exchange among participants.
After returning from Tashkent, Maria Meshchanova, Research Director at BISAM Central Asia, hosted a sociologists’ breakfast where she shared insights on how the meetup went, which ideas inspired participants, and which new approaches could be applied in our work.
Maria noted that such professional gatherings provide an opportunity “to look at research from a different perspective, find like-minded peers, and draw inspiration from the experience of neighboring countries”.

“The meetup in Uzbekistan became an excellent platform for live dialogue among researchers from different countries. It was fascinating to see how colleagues work with data, combine qualitative and quantitative approaches, and how research culture is evolving across the region.
What is especially valuable is that new standards of research work are now emerging — practical, flexible, and based on empathy toward the user. At BISAM Central Asia, we are moving in the same direction, and events like this help us align our vector and recharge with new ideas”, Maria Meshchanova shared.
