Field team leaders meet with regional interviewers

Akmaral Orazbayeva, Head of the Qualitative Research Field Network, and Akbota Altayeva, Field Manager of the Tracking Research Department, held a working meeting with regional interviewers who play a vital role in implementing research projects across cities and regions of the country.

During the meeting, participants discussed current tasks, the specifics of fieldwork, data collection quality, communication with respondents, and the challenges interviewers encounter while conducting surveys and interviews.

The work of an interviewer is one of the most important stages of any research project. The professionalism, attention to detail, and responsibility of interviewers have a direct impact on the quality of the data collected and, consequently, on the reliability of the insights and recommendations delivered to clients.

Regional interviewers work in a wide range of conditions: they travel to research locations, communicate with diverse target audiences, explain the purpose of studies, follow research methodologies, and ensure that questionnaires are completed accurately. This role requires not only strong communication skills but also patience, resilience, discipline, and the ability to build trust with people.
